Street Art Racing switches to Ferrari for full 2024 GT Cup Europe campaign

29.02.2024

The Prancing Horse will be very well represented in the GT Cup Europe this year, and the first team to announce its participation with a Ferrari is Street Art Racing. The Belgian squad based near Charleroi is of course not a new entry, as it has been taking part in the GT Open and the GT Cup Europe the last three seasons, but will be new as a Ferrari entrant.

The team led by Albert Bloem and Damien Hellebuyck has switched from the Aston Martin Vantage to a Ferrari 488 Challenge Evo 2 and will focus its efforts exclusively on the GT Cup Europe.

At the wheel of the Jetcraft-livered car will be the faithful drivers of the squad, France’s Jahid Fazal-Karim and Switzerland’s Pascal Bachmann.

Team owner Albert Bloem commented: “We are delighted to continue our journey in the GT Sport-promoted series for a fourth consecutive year and to continue working with Jahid and Pascal. Switching to the Ferrari 488 GT3 Evo 2 will mark the opening of a new chapter for our squad. The Ferrari has proven extremely competitive and reliable in the series last year and this is what has directed our choice for 2024. We look forward to this new challenge and are anxious to be hitting the track again at Barcelona for the Winter Test.”
